As the Anglican Church of Singapore grows as an organisation in supporting our mission and ministry, the following positions are currently available for application.


1. ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER (BISHOP’S OFFICE)

Responsibilities:

  • Manage Baptism, Confirmation and Membership records;
  • Maintain database;
  • Coordinate Pastoral Workers License Interviews;
  • Other administrative duties as assigned by the Senior Executive Officer.

Requirements

  • Minimum A ‘levels / Diploma
  • Proficient with MS OFFICE software
  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin (spoken and written)
  • Prior experience in similar scope within a church preferred
  • Systematic, meticulous and able to keep to datelines given
  • Responsible and dedicated

 

2. RECORD MANAGEMENT OFFICER (PART-TIME / CONTRACT)
This is a contract / part-time position for a minimum commitment of 12 months to continue our archiving work, and may be renewable subject to suitability and workload.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the cataloguing and preservation of documents, publications etc. of the Diocese;
  • Upkeep of the Archival Records;
  • Consolidate related documents / materials / publications from our Churches/ Congregations;
  • Conduct surveys and collate information provided by parishes
  • Other administrative duties as assigned by the Senior Executive Officer.

Requirements

  • Minimum A ‘levels / Diploma
  • Proficient with MS OFFICE software
  • Prior experience in similar scope preferred / possess knowledge in cataloging & archiving
  • Able to work independently
  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin (written and spoken)

 

3. ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER (PR & COMMUNICATIONS)

Responsibilities:

Print

  • To work on our Anglican Newsletter “Diocesan Digest” twice a year and other Diocesan Publications
  • Write articles and cover corporate events

Digital / Graphic Design

  • Maintain and update Diocesan websites, corporate publicity platforms &
  • social media
  • Designing flyers and brochures / corporate materials
  • Taking official photographs during Events / edit Photographs for publishing

Public Relations

  • Assist in PR & Communications duties
  • Hospitality

Requirements:

  • Diploma / Degree in Marketing / Art Design / Visual Communications or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year experience in relevant design field
  • Good knowledge in design softwares e.g Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign.
  • Able to multi-task, work under tight deadlines and a good team player
  • Possess creative flair, passionate and proficient in design work
  • Other duties as and when assigned by the Senior Executive Officer.

 

4. ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER (HR)

Responsiblities

  • Assist and support the HR Manager and HR Board
  • Handle operational and administrative work related to HR
  • Other duties as and when assigned by the Senior Executive Officer

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Human Resource (preferred)
  • Proficient in MS OFFICE software
  • Able to maintain high level of integrity and competency in keeping confidentiality of information and related documents
  • Mature, dedicated, meticulous and able to work independently
  • At least 3 years of related work experience in a similar position

 

5. EXECUTIVE ADMINISTRATOR

Responsiblities

  • Manage and oversee Administration and Operations within the Diocese
  • Liaise with Government Agencies
  • Provide administrative support to Senior Clergy and the Senior Executive Officer
  • Manage General Insurance Portfolio
  • Taking Minutes of Board Meetings
  • Other duties as and when assigned by the Senior Executive Officer

Requirements

  • A good Degree (Business Administration preferred)
  • Strong administrative skills (experience as secretary or similar role preferred)
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Mature, self-motivated and able to work independently
  • At least 5-7 years’ of related work experience in a similar position
