Overview of the Bible 2
The Interpretation of the Bible

Speaker: Mr Kua Wee Seng
Date: 14 January 2012
Venue: Diocese building
Time: 9.30 am - 4.00 pm
Cost: $5 (payable at the session)

We all interpret the Bible as we read it. The question is whether we interpret it accurately. How should we interpret the Word of God faithfully?

This overview session will help us better read, study, interpret and apply the Bible. We will look at the fundamental nature of the Holy Scriptures and learn the basic process of Bible studies and interpretation. We will go through some of the mis-interpreted Bible texts and draw lessons from them. We will also look at some Bible passages, applying sound Biblical interpretation and application principles.

Those who have attended this course organised by St Andrew's Cathedral (with 80% attendance) may be credited as having attended the Overview module of DCBS. Please inform the organisers if you are seeking certification for Diocesan Certificate of Biblical Studies.
