Diocesan Centenary Family Day
In conjunction with the Diocesan
Centenary celebrations this year, there will be a Diocesan
Family Day to be held on Monday, 21 September 2009 (public
holiday) from 9.30am to 3.00pm at St
Andrew's Cathedral.
There
will be food stalls galore, great fun games, handicraft stalls,
street soccer, special children’s play zone and community
services booths.
This is a celebration and thanksgiving
event with the twin purposes of:
(1) diocese-wide fellowship & participation,
(2) the raising of funds for our diocesan community service
institutions.
Let us gather together to "love one another" in
fellowship and to "love our neighbour" in fund-raising.
We are encouraging all our churches, schools and kindergartens to take part in this event, or take up a stall.
Schools & kindergardens can get the tickets from your respective
Anglican churches.
All sales proceeds will go to the
following Anglican community services: St. Andrew's Community
Hospital, St. Andrew's Autism Centre, Hougang Care Centre,
Simei Care Centre and Anglican Crisis Shelter.
